I left a comment on your blog about

    Harris and White, Chuckatuck Quakers

xviii. THE QUAKER FAMILY OF WHITE IN VIRGINIA – from whom: John White, d. in IOW Co., 1719?

    Item #6
Thomas White (d. 1761), m. Rachel Jordan on Sept. 13, 1719, at the Chuckatuck Meeting House, Nansemond Co. He would have been born ca. 1696. Issue: Benjamin White. “Benjamin White and wife, Lucy (Hancocke) White, of Surry Co. to Mark Parish late of Elizabeth City Co. for 45 pounds current money …. 200 ac. bounded by Robert Nicholson (being the land lately bought by said Benjamin White from (brother) Robert White on Nov. 20, 1750. June 16, 1752. Wit: Samuel Blow, Michael Blow,……..

I am a descendant of the above-mentioned Benjamin White 1744-1808 .The Benjamin that was Thomas and Rachel Jordan White’s son didn’t marry Lucy Hancocke of Surry Co – but instead married Millicent Ann Henley 25 Mar 1767 in Perquimans Co NC – I have the Quaker records to prove this and who his parents were. (US, Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol 1-VI 1607-1943 – Vol 1 Perquimans Monthly Meeting pg 25.

Also this Benjamin didn’t have a brother named Robert.

    I am in a White YDNA research group that has matched descendants of John White d 1719 – going through his 4 sons – Joseph b 1707, William b 1711, Thomas d 1761 and John d 1730.
I look forward to hearing from you
    Doris Ann White
