Her Will, proved 20 Sept 1721, named daughter Margaret, wife of Bartlett Moreland, and granddaughter Elizabeth Judkins. 1690-1691 [March last] a Bristoll Ship, Captain William Jones, Comander, brought William Cripps 13 years, servant to Mr. William Brown & Edward Line age 16 [years], servant to Edward Moreland, father of Bartlet Moreland: Thomas Joyner (brother of Bridgeman Joyner, guardian of an orphan of Thomas Harris, d. 1688) was granted 300 ac. in Isle of Wight County on S side of the main blackwater due by and for the transportacon of 6 persons into this Colony whose names are Samuel Gridley, Abraham Morris, Mathew Christian, Peter Martin, Bartlet Moreland, Edwd. Elias Forte was very likely to have been of this family. He was on a jury on Oct. 9, 1667, when he signed his mark on a document of a coroner’s jury investigating the death of William Persons, in IOW. The Westbrookes intermarried with the Persons – a John Westbrooke m. Lucy Person, c. 1775.
